Meiji Animal Health emphasizes the concept of "One Health", meaning human health is inseparable from the health of animals and the environment. This approach improves the quality of life for all by resolving many issues, including antimicrobial resistance passing from humans to animals and vice versa.
Meiji Animal Health has over 70 years of experience protecting and nurturing animal health with science-backed innovations. In the 1950s, we entered the veterinary pharmaceutical market with a rabies vaccine and penicillin-based feed additive. Since then, we've developed other vaccines, including the world's first vaccine for swine atrophic rhinitis. We expanded our business to companion animals in the 1990s, always pursuing the highest quality care for all animals.
We believe in the spirit of collaboration. That means sharing knowledge and emerging technologies with academic organizations and companies—and learning from them too. We're always open to new partnerships and ventures that benefit the development of veterinary medicine everywhere.
